A set of cards which can be laminated and used as an activity to talk about how a 'typical' relationship may progress. Can lead to discussions about what is appropriate when it comes to a relationship becoming sexual. Also useful for showing that there are many 'stages' in progression to sexual intercourse. Pupils are asked to make two piles after cutting out the ingredients. Allow them time to 'debate' whether the ingredients are IN cigarettes or NOT IN cigarettes. Take feedback from group before announcing that they are ALL in cigarettes!

Pupils are asked to consider natural changes to their bodies. They must discuss/decide which changes affect male/female/both. A good starter to open discussion about changing bodies.

A worksheet which allows pupils to 'mix' and ask each other questions. Ideal for transition from Primary to Secondary. Could be extended by asking pupils to say something about someone the have just met.
